覺得最近的生活很需要這首詩歌，繁重的課業與召會生活壓得我喘不過氣，好像過去的黑暗又朝我襲捲而來，我只好更多的投靠主，轉向我的隱秘處，我的避難所，躲避撒旦的攻擊與控告，因為我深深知道在那裡是主，祂用祂的手將我拖住，用祂愛的臂腕抱緊我。
『保護你的是耶和華；耶和華在你右邊蔭庇你。白日太陽必不傷你，夜間月亮必不害你。耶和華要保護你，免受一切的災害；祂要保護你的性命。你出你入，耶和華要保護你，從今時直到永遠。』詩一百二十一5～8
Days grew dark Oh God
神啊 天色漸漸黯淡
Cords of Sheol surrounded me
陰間的繩索纏繞我
The snares of death came forth
死亡的網羅臨到我
Destruction had assailed on me
毀滅的急流使我驚懼
And in my deep distress
而在我最深的愁苦中
I called upon His name
我呼求祂的名
He heard my voice, descended down

And saved me by His hand

I will call on You

祂是我的磐石 我的盾牌
My strength is God in Him I lie
我的力量 我安歇於祂
The shadow of His wings
祂翅膀的蔭下
Is now the place I hide
現是我的隱秘之地
His presence here, my comfort here
祂的同在 是我安慰
All by one simple word

I called upon His name

- snares:陷阱，羅網。也可以指小鼓～～
Destruction had assailed on me.

- assailed:攻擊，襲擊;抨擊。困擾；使苦惱
